Relax in a Country Cottage

Rydal Cottage has all you need for a wonderful and relaxing stay. This one bedroom comfortable, charming and romantic cosy cottage has a fully functional kitchen, queen size bed, one bathroom with a 4-claw bath, shower, underfloor heating, laundry, barbecue, gas heating, air conditioning, wifi, fully fenced and dog friendly with plenty of parking on 1.5 acres.

Rydal is a small rural village in New South Wales, Australia located about 154 kilometres west of the state capital, Sydney and 22 kilometres west from the city of Lithgow about 6 km off the Great Western Highway. The Main Western Railway line passes through Rydal and there are two trains a day going to Sydney and two returning in the evening. You do not need to book for the train to stop but you do need your Opal card and remember to tap on and off.

The Rydal Show is in February and Daffodils at Rydal in September. The nearest shop is in Wallerawang 8 kms away or Lithgow 10 kms. The Rydal pub is open on the weekend and sometimes during the week but please call them first to check. There are two pubs in Wallerawang, a bakery, post office, pharmacy, service station and a café. Lithgow has several pubs and some restaurants as well. Places of interest in the local area include Tarana which has a cafe and a dog friendly courtyard pub, with a great lunch and outside area.
